Re: Do You Sign The Back of Your CC?

Speaking of ID, Bed Bath and Beyond apparently requires it over $100 now. And I'm noticing ID requirements becoming more common in general too. Honestly, if we can't have/don't want PIN on credit cards and there has to be some sort of verification, checking ID would be better than checking signature since at the very least, the former happens before the card's run.

 

Not to say that I particularly want every store to be asking for ID, mind you. If anything, I want the no signature limit raised to $100-150 so that I almost never have to provide one. Or maybe have some sort of dynamic system that takes into account your past history with the issuer and only has you sign if your spending is way outside of your normal, but I don't know how feasible that would be.
