Yes, I would wait on Cap One or combine now and try for another with a higher limit down the road. My rule of thumb, is only keep the store cards I really, really use. And after I use the promo on store cards for purchases for my home, I will cancel. No need for them any further. Barclay is a good card to get and with 700, you will most likely.
