This information is not confirmed by Chase - I really hope it does get confirmed before someone applies taking into account the past discrimination lawsuits by individual customers and employees of JPMorgan. Therefore as it is not something that is not confirmed, I think that it can be argued to be an unfair practice.

Just because there is past discrimination does not mean there will be future discrimination.  The rule change is not discrimination.  There is no question about it.  There have been several people on this board confirm that CSR told them the rule was changing.  So Yes, there has been a public statement of a rule change.  Chase is NOT going to put a full page ad in the NYTs or WSJ.

If Chase applies the new rule fairly, how is it unfair?  I dont know how much more easier to explain it to you.

Again with your logic, the CCC cannot raise their rates because it is unfair.  The Federal Reserve cannot raise rates because it is unfair.  Fed Chair Janet Yellen should not be allowed to discuss any potential rate hike because it might scare people and cause havoc.  With your logic, I want my $100K back that I lost in the stock market over the past several months due to the Federal Reserve's statements and action.
