Your best bet would be to let your INQs age off; so waiting at least 6 months while you demonstrate good use with your current line up would help. Are you taking any action in regards to your collections?
If you do decide to seek more credit, it's also important to get credit that would be useful to you. Do you have any particular stores you frequent? What's your spend like in a typical month?
